Bloom Baptist is managed first and foremost by the authority of the Word of God. The Senior Pastor is the primary leader of the church, and oversees the spiritual health and overall direction of Bloom Baptist. Bloom also has an Associate/Youth Pastor, who is responsible primarily for the youth programs, managing and directing the LifeQuest small groups at the church, as well as supporting and teaching the Senior Pastor as the need arises. Finally, Bloom has an office support staff, who assist in office management roles, as well as a host of volunteers who help each of the aforementioned ministries, and others, run smoothly.

  • Senior Pastor - Mike O'Bryant

    Pastor Mike came to Bloom Baptist Church in March 2005. He is married to Kathy and has two children, Marybeth and Ben. In addition to his ministry at Bloom, he also is active in the Metro Columbus Baptist Association and the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio.

  • Associate Pastor - Bobby Drodofsky

    Pastor Bobby has been Associate Pastor since 2015. He is married to Marybeth and has one daughter, Trinity. Bobby is a veteran of the United States Army. As Associate Pastor, Bobby is responsible for the spiritual shepherding and development of Bloom Baptist's youth. Additionally, Pastor Bobby oversees the direction and overall management of our small group and LifeQuest Group ministries.

  • Church Clerk - Monica SLone

    Monica joined the staff in 2010 but has been a part of Bloom Baptist since 2005. She is retired from Macy's and resides in Canal Winchester. Monica is responsible for scheduling use of church facilities, mailing lists, and in general keeps things running smoothly!
