“We exist to reach and equip families to love god, grow together, and serve others.”

When you arrive at Bloom Baptist Church, you will find members and friends of Bloom Baptist Church who welcome all persons, regardless of ethnic heritage, religious backgrounds, etc. You can join a Southern Baptist congregation where we hold to the Baptist Faith and Message. Unlike many denominations, the Southern Baptist Convention holds no authority over the churches, but are controlled by representatives elected by members from the churches.

Bloom Baptist is built upon our "three circles," of loving Godgrowing together, and serving others

  • We seek to love God, by gathering together to worship, through the study of the Word and through praise in song, and being shaped into Christ-likeness.

  • We desire to grow together by fellowshipping in small groups, pushing each other and sharpening each as iron sharpens iron.

  • We want to serve others by reaching out into our community and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost.

Come enjoy our time of worship on Sunday morning where the music portion is led by our worship pastor, along with a praise team, band, and worship choir. Whether you prefer more traditional styles of worship, with hymns, or are have a preference for more contemporary styles and you music, you will find both in our Sunday morning service.

Come and enjoy fellowship with believers at a casual church; we do not follow strict guidelines for the service in regard to dress, program, etc. Bloom Baptist is a place you can come to and find a sanctuary for prayerful worship within a respectful and welcoming environment and to meet your spiritual needs and find a genuine Christian community.

Joining Bloom Baptist Church means you will be joining us in our mission, which is the Great Commission. God has entrusted His work to the local church. Scripture clearly tells us that we are to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." At Bloom Baptist, we believe that the biblical mandate says enough: we are to go and make disciples of all nations.

About the Southern Baptist Convention

Bloom Baptist is a church that is in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).

Since its organization in 1845 in Augusta, Georgia, the SBC has grown to over 16 million members who worship in more than 45,000 churches in the United States. Southern Baptists sponsor about 5,000 missionaries serving the United States and its territories, Canada, and the Caribbean, as well as sponsoring more than 5,000 foreign missionaries in 153 nations of the world.

The term "Southern Baptist Convention" refers to both the convention and its annual meeting. Working through 1,175 local associations and 42 state conventions, Southern Baptists share a common bond of basic Biblical beliefs and a commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.

One becomes a Southern Baptist by uniting with a Southern Baptist Church - one in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist enterprise of reaching the world for Christ. Typically church membership is a matter of receiving Jesus as your Savior and Lord and experiencing believer's baptism by immersion.
