Our heart’s desire is to see our church become a place of great encouragement. It is a vision the people of this church heartily embraces. God has blessed that vision that started with about 30 people back in 1974, and has added to our membership likeminded people. Now, with about 212 in morning worship, we enjoy the joy and enthusiasm that is a natural result of such an encouraging spirit.
Two themes have developed over the years in this wonderful church. We have embraced the slogan, “Becoming the most encouraging place on earth,” based on Hebrews 10:25 which tells us to exhort or encourage one another when we meet together as a church family. That theme of encouragement is real in our church. You will feel that and experience it, should you visit us for worship.
A second theme has been born out of the desire to see ourselves as a church family. We often call ourselves a “family of friends.” That thought also has biblical roots, as in 1Timothy 5:1-2. In the local church, people will either make friends or make tracks. The relationships we develop in our church family go deeper than Sunday morning acquaintances. We see ourselves as interconnected members of the body of Christ.
As these two thoughts have become intertwined, it has become our objective to be a church that encourages people to experience fellowship with God and fellowship with His people as we seek to know Him and love Him supremely. We hope you will come next Sunday and experience firsthand the presence of God in this encouraging family of believers.
