 
The Chainsaw Ministry at Bloom is an outreach ministry that helps the needy and others in times of need. For example, they have helped families and organizations devestated by Hurricane Katrina. with the cleanup and rebuilding process as well as families in the local community. You may have heard of us, or seen our signs around church, and wondered what is MOPS? It's a group of mothers that meet once a month to take a break from day to day "mom stuff". We give each other support, have guest speakes, do crafts, discuss topics that interest moms, and have a Bible devotion. There are currently about ten members in our group at Bloom, but there are thousands of MOPS participants across the country. We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, Sept.-May, at 9:30. Childcare is provided.

Bloom has an awsome VBS program designed to spiritually enrich the lives of everyone involved; from children to adults. It's a great time for kids to learn about Jesus in a fun and exciting way. For more information about the VBS program at Bloom please contact the church office. |
