When does Sunday School Meet?

Sunday School begins promptly each Sunday moring between the first and second worship service at 9:45am.
How can I get involved?

Attending Sunday School is a great first step in getting involved and reaping the benefits of God's church. But why stop there? Go a step further and get involved in the Sunday School Ministry.

Every class has the following needs:

  1. Teacher -Selected yearly by the nominating commitee
  2. Assistant or Substitute Teacher-Usually a member of the class who works with the regular teacher in study and preparation for each weeks lesson and fills in when needed.
  3. Fellowship leader-Someone to organize and lead the effort in putting together times of gathering outside the normal Sunday morning.
Who can I contact?

If you are interested in participating in the Sunday School Ministry you can contact your Sunday School Teacher directly, Sunday School Director(Chris Zweydorff), Ben Johnson, or Pastor O'Bryant.

Contrary to what a lot of people think, Sunday School is not just for little kids. Sunday School at Bloom Baptist Church can be described as "A small study group". Whatever the age range, there is a class for you. A time of studying God's word and fellowship is essential to growing in the Christian faith. This weekly time promotes the following:
  1. An in depth study of God's word.Various topics are covered every Sunday School year. Sometimes it's, a character study, other times an entire book review. Everyone is encouraged to share their thoughts and ask questions.
  2. Fellowship with others of like faith and age. Everyone has experiences to share that can help others in trials they may be facing. Taking the time to have fun and enjoy each other is a reason why we were created. The small group study enhances these experiences because you really get to know those around you.
  3. Planning and taking action to address the needs of the church and community. Much can be accomplished by a small group "caring and sharing".




Please join us on Sunday mornings to fellowship with each other and become more involved in the word of God! There is a class available for everyone and the nursery is available for infants and toddlers. We look forward to seeing you in class and Worship Service.
